A RESOLUTION
GRANTING
A VARIANCE TO HIGHWAY 16 INVESTMENTS L.L.C. FOR RIVERWOOD SUBDIVISION
The following resolution was offered
for adoption by the Washington Parish Council
on motion by __Randy Thomas___ , seconded by _Charles
Nassauer_.
WHEREAS,
Highway 16 Investments L.L.C., the owner of property being developed as
Riverwood Subdivision, has requested a variance of Ordinance 09-482 entitled
Improvement Requirements for Subdivisions and Land Developments.
AND WHEREAS, the request has been reviewed by the Infrastructure
Committee and approved subject to the requirement that Highway 16 Investments
LLC grant servitudes for utilities and drainage 10 feet in width along the
margins (adjoining each side of 50ft. right-of-way) of Beech Drive, Riverwood
Drive, Whiteoak Point Road, Cottonwood Drive and Oxbow Lane wherein Highway 16
Investments L.L.C. owns property adjoining these roads with the servitudes 10
feet in width to be servitudes for utilities for all utility providers, drainage
including rainwater and treated sewer effluent.
BE IT RESOLVED, that Highway 16 Investments L.L.C. is granted a
variance of Ordinance 09-482 entitled Improvement Requirements for Subdivisions
and Land Development and the survey plat of Riverwood Subdivision is approved
subject to the requirement that Highway 16 Investments L.L.C. grant servitudes
for utilities and drainage 10 feet in width along the margins (adjoining each
side of 50 ft. right-of-way) of Beech Drive, Riverwood Drive, Whiteoak Point,
Cottonwood Drive and Oxbow Lane wherein Highway 16 Investments L.L.C. owns
property adjoining these roads with the servitudes to be for utilities for all
utility providers, drainage including rainwater and treated sewer effluent and
utility providers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Washington Parish Director of Public
Works is authorized to approve and sign the survey plat of Riverwood
Subdivision as revised to reflect the servitudes required by this resolution.
The above and foregoing having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereupon
resulted as follows:
