AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PARISH PRESIDENT,

TO SIGN ALL CONTRACTS, FORMS, APPLICATIONS

AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO APPLY

FOR AND ADMINISTER THE GRANT, FOR THE

BOGUE LUSA WATER WORKS DISTRICT THROUGH

THE OFFICE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (CWEF)

PROGRAM, IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000.00

WHEREAS, the Washington Parish Government has applied for a Louisiana Community Development Block Grant under the 2008-2009 program funding cycle; and

WHEREAS, the grant application has been approved through (CWEF) in the amount of $100,000 for a term of three years;

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Parish President be and is hereby authorized to sign all contracts, forms applications, reports, plans, notices and all other documents and paperwork necessary to apply for and administer the aforementioned grant program.

Having been submitted to a vote, the vote resulted as follows:
