AN ORDINANCE REVISING
ORDINANCES 09-482 AND
10-511 ENTITLED
“IMPROVEMENT
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBDIVISIONS
AND LAND DEVELOPMENTS”,
AS REVISED;
ORDINANCE 09-481
ENTITLED
“INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL
OR BUSINESS PERMIT ORDINANCE”;
AND
ORDINANCE 10-513
ENTITLED
“MINES AND MINING
OPERATIONS ORDINANCE”
WHEREAS, Ordinances 09-482 and 10-511 adopted “Improvement Requirements for Subdivisions and Land Developments”, as revised; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 09-481 adopted “Industrial, Commercial or Business Permit Ordinance”; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 10-513 adopted “Mines and Mining Operations Ordinance”; and
WHEREAS, the Washington Parish Council desires to grant the authority of administration of these ordinances to the Washington Parish Planning Commission.
BE IT ORDAINED, that the Washington Parish Council hereby adopts these revisions to Ordinance 09-482 and Ordinance 10-511 entitled “Improvement Requirements for Subdivisions and Land Developments”, as revised, Ordinance 09-481 “Industrial, Commercial or Business Permit Ordinance”, and Ordinance 10-513 “Mines and Mining Operations Ordinance”, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that Ordinance 09-482 and Ordinance 10-511 entitled “Improvement Requirements for Subdivisions and Land Developments”, as revised, shall hereinafter be further designated as Article 4 of the Comprehensive Development Plan of Washington Parish, Louisiana; that Ordinance 09-481 entitled “Industrial, Commercial or Business Permit Ordinance” shall hereinafter be further designated as Article 5 of the Comprehensive Development Plan of Washington Parish, Louisiana; and that Ordinance 10-513, entitled “Mines and Mining Operations Ordinance” shall hereinafter be further designated as Article 6 of the Comprehensive Development Plan of Washington Parish, Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that any requests for variances pending before the Washington Parish Infrastructure Committee and/or the Washington Parish Council prior to the adoption of this ordinance shall continue to be handled by the Washington Parish Infrastructure Committee and or the Washington Parish Council.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that to the extent that any prior ordinances may be contradictory to the provisions of this ordinance, such prior ordinances are repealed.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that as authorized by Sections 2-13(C) of the Washington Parish Home Rule Charter this ordinance shall be published in summary by title.
