AN ORDINANCE CHANGING A POLLING PLACE IN WARD 8 PRECINCT 3 FROM THE CURRENT LOCATION OF THE WASHINGTON PARISH FIRE DISTRICT NUMBER 4, 30359 HIGHWAY 424, FRANKLINTON, LOUISIANA 70438 TO THE THOMAS SCHOOL, 30341 HIGHWAY 424, FRANKLINTON, LOUISIANA 70438.

WHEREAS, LA R. S. 18:534 authorizes a parish governing authority to change a polling place;

AND WHEREAS, there are safety issues at the current location of a polling place in Ward 8 Precinct 3 at the Washington Parish Fire District Number 4 having a physical address of 30341 Highway 424, Franklinton, Louisiana 70438;

BE IT ORDAINED, that the polling place located in Ward 8 Precinct 3 at the Washington Parish Fire District Number 4 having a physical address of 30359 Highway 424, Franklinton, Louisiana, 70438 is hereby changed to the Thomas School having a physical address 30341 Highway 424, Franklinton, Louisiana 70438 which is located in Ward 8 Precinct 3.

The above and foregoing having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereupon

resulted as follows:
