AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT ROADS IN RIVERWOOD SUBDIVISION

WHEREAS, Riverwood Subdivision is a duly dedicated subdivision as per Act of Dedication dated May 21, 2010, of record in COB 688, Page 444, and Act of Correction dated June 28, 2010, of record in COB 690, Page 548, Washington Parish, Louisiana;

AND WHEREAS, the roads of Riverwood Subdivision, being Beech Drive, containing 2,112 linear feet; Riverwood Drive, containing 2,842 linear feet; Whiteoak Point, containing 688 linear feet; Cottonwood Drive, containing 2,032 linear feet; and Oxbow Lane, containing 783 linear feet, for a total length of 8,457 linear feet or 1.61 miles, as more particularly shown on the subdivision plat of Riverwood Subdivision which plat is dated May 2, 2010 by R.W. Krebs, L.L.C., Job Number 101141, of record in Plat Cabinet 3, Page 96-A and 96-B, Washington Parish, Louisiana are in substantial compliance with Parish standards for acceptance as a Parish road;

AND WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11-544, restricts the Parish’s responsibility for maintenance of new subdivision roads or newly constructed roads that are located in a “floodway” or in a flood designated zone;

BE IT ORDAINED, the Washington Parish Government accepts the roads of Riverwood Subdivision, specifically, Beech Drive, containing 2,112 linear feet; Riverwood Drive, containing 2,842 linear feet; Whiteoak Point, containing 688 linear feet; Cottonwood Drive, containing 2,032 linear feet; and Oxbow Lane, containing 783 linear feet, for a total length of 8,457 linear feet or 1.61 miles, as more particularly shown on the subdivision plat of Riverwood Subdivision which plat is dated May 2, 2010 by R.W. Krebs, L.L.C., Job Number 101141, of record in Plat Cabinet 3, Page 96-A and 96-B, Washington Parish, Louisiana, as a public roads to be included in the Parish Road Maintenance System, subject to Ordinance No. 11-554.

The above and foregoing having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereupon

resulted as follows:
